HAIR POOL 4

Faith ( left ) and Natalie are marking each other with stinging slaps as they tug hair for that chance to let loose; the stand-up before the take-down is remarkable leading to the floor struggle that makes this my favourite fight.

Fighting on their feet Danni ( right ) managed to cope better with the hair tugs to slap Layla into submission.

Sahara demonstrates her skill at thwarting Mandy's moves, a sharp lesson from Sahara in the stand-up fight which benefited Mandy in her fight against Portia, a bruising encounter when Mandy was the loser all round but what a gutsy fighter.

Sahara has Portia momentarily, completely in her hands leaning into the hair grasp. Both had beaten Mandy to qualify for this final, the bigger Portia stayed in the fight to the very end, nearly unseating our wee champion but a draw was enough for Sahara to stay on her throne. The fights were astounding though Sahara, undoubtedly, remains the queen.

The chance to exploit the hair advantage falls to Natalie and Samara can't do much more than...... go with it.

Nearly naked and so bruised but Samara is in the driving seat, in a better hair-hold position to get Natalie on her back for a mount where she can slap-bruise some more.

A defiant and clever Kitkat is no match for a determined Sahara who holds her head down by the hair. Kitkat, though she had her moments was flummoxed by Sahara's aggression and stamina over the three rounds. I did hope for a rematch or for the return of Kitkat.

Their oiled-up bodies are too slippery to grip and the footing unsure in the struggle but thank goodness for the hair, they can still get a tight enough grip and Carmen looks to be in a commanding position over Sahara.....but not for long.

PRIME POSITION

The prime position in a cat-fight can be the final coup de gras, I'd hope the  position would be reversed several times during the fight before the end to make it a solid cat-fight.

Otherwise, it's a beat-down or a one-sided affair, ( depending on the build up and who is participating ) so, not so good for me.

Jamielee captures the winning moment against a flagging Ria after what seemed a certain win for Ria in a back and forward fight.

The encouragement obvious from their respective supporters may well have stimulated the extra effort from Jamielee. A very tense affair al fresco.

One-sided, mostly, but Faith over-awed Carmen completely, without mercy and without doubt. Again, Faith left her hair down for Carmen to attack which she did with one-dimensional persistence. Faith explored other avenues of attack, which led to the final victory straddle.

The humiliating, near face-sit, was proof that Faith had little respect for Carmen's fighting ability. Carmen was fuming and made that plain, even after the defeat.

The end of the road for sweet Ceecee, a brave and magnificent challenge to the evolving powerhouse, Electra, who finally has Ceecee comfortably between her thighs, knowing that Ceecee's final flurries are token, her challenge squashed.

Electra was so relieved to win the trophy, she looked tearful.

I do believe Electra had a few rungs yet to climb to reach her fighting limits but the opponents to take her to these giddy heights were just not there. She tried to entice Natalie into the arena on the old forum: no deal there.

Natalie knows Emma is finished, she knows she is finally going to take her seat ( neat seat too ) on the throne of victory: she has out-powered the threat of Emma. A significant and hard fought victory over a lovely, battling rival.

A beatdown from a newbie in a trophy match is always a possibility though Heidi, having watched Becca fight Kelly already that day, put an already tired Becca away so hard and positively that I'm thinking, either Heidi's interpretation of the simple rules were a notch ( or two or three ) above Becca's or she wanted the trophy more than Becca did. Either way, Heidi never returned and remains undefeated.

A lingerie affair. Carmen tastes victory in the prime position over Melicious who looks as if she's trying to get ( or resist ) a taste of Carmen

You know when Faith has the prime position; look at her victory face, she starts the vocals to humiliate the loser; in this case, Justice who is forced to mumble her submission against Faith's crotch after putting up a bitter fight. The honours even in the stand-up hair pull and slap but the take-down and ground fight belonged to Faith.

The end for Layla; Danni has the final mount, they have slapped each other for three rounds and both have finally gone to the floor.

Danni was fearless against Layla and takes a well-deserved victory. Two beautiful girls in a cat-fight to reach the prime position.

Facial 3

The smaller ladies are in the ring first and Chelsea is calling out supervisory instruction to her team-mate, Rusty.

Eyes closed, as some would, and determined, Rusty goes for Lily's hair, whilst Lily is looking for the two-handed hair attack, perhaps seeing, in tune with her advanced thoughts, of an early take-down.

Axa gets in first. Natalie's agonised but resisting face can only be the result of a pretty severe right hand hair-pull by Axa. Love the wide, braced stances.

Cheeky Cassie - yes, just look at her face, an expression that is a total taunt from a passive position that took a different look when she fought Emma.

The dominant smile from Electra who knows sexy cheeky doesn't really work in a fight. A sexy photo, for sure.

Chelsea French is spitting fury at Axa but the back-up wasn't there because Axa exposed her, all done in sexy fashion.

The leverage is with Jane and the pain is in Ceecees teeth. Surely!

Carmen knows her hold might be painful so keeping Donna's ears covered with her hands to block the sound of Donna's own scream is typical of Carmen. She was so kind to topless Donna.... she went on to lose the fight!

HAIR POOL 3

Natalie is in prime position to wreak revenge on top of Axa, and the clenched hand is determined to keep Axa's head as still as the duvet allows, while the right hand searches to body slap.

From below Axa does her best to manipulate Natalie's head and launches brutal slaps on her back and ribs.

A similar situation with Ali on her back and Helen, a rookie, a real battler and perhaps not so experienced. Maybe Ali's grip was hurting her scalp as her instinct is to hold Ali's arm to somehow ease the pain.

Helen wasn't so experienced but she finally got the submission from little Ali, so it's not all about the hair and slaps but what goes into three rounds sharing the lot.

A bit of a stalemate for Chelsea and Natalie on the floor, the slapping was mostly reserved for the stand-up parts of the fight.

All sensational, with Natalie stoically accepting the pain of hardcore especially when she triggered harsh treatment from Chelsea by fighting back and not giving until she'd given her all.

Hair pulling comes in all different ways and I suspect it's the beginning of a turnover between Becca and Kelly. Evenly matched and a delight to watch them turn each other frequently, ground grappling and slapping.

Cassie ( left ) and Emma pulled and tugged each others' hair for a long time. Neither had long hair but they must have lost some hair between them. It seemed neither wanted to give up tormenting each others hair as the trudge around the mat went on and on.

Emma did enlighten us on the old forum that it was expensive to thicken up lost hair at the hairdresser after that fight. I'm in no doubts about that, just watching what they did to each other.

Their fight was all about payback when they got their chance and Emma is looking to extract wisps of hair from Cassie's scalp in the above photo - that's her payback face. What a hot, nasty fight. Sheesh!

When I see the bare floor and no coverings I know it's mostly a stand-up fight in which Sahara excels though the newbie blonde Portia took Sahara all the way to a draw.

It's different and the hair pull is often used as a lever to gain access to the body for slaps.

Sahara has become quite expert in this mode of fighting and I find it exciting, as I do the fighters.

Sahara was at a low ebb in the third round when Portia caught her in the above position, both hands in Sahara's hair.

Sahara's face reflects her difficulty - of course she recovered, angrily- and even I was beginning to fret.

They are possibly having a break trying to figure out the next move but always the hands are in the hair exerting pressure, terrified they lose a chance to get the upper hand.

A superb back and forth battle which I hope can be repeated in a rematch. BFUK?

Not that she got it all her own way, this was a slog of a fight but Natalie clearly shows the advantage of hair pull leverage, exposing Carmen's back for a heavy slap, or was it two? Ouch! I think Carmen would try to avoid the second. Don't you?

HAIR POOL 2

I've seen many Bfuk girls hold the head firmly to the floor, on firmer floors, by using the hair which allows easier release of healthy slaps to the thighs, shoulders and chest. Although on her back Natalie is resisting by harrying Emma who may be looking for this move.

And this is the move, demonstrated by Natalie on Domino. OW! yeah, very effective.

Echo is burrowing her nails into Jamielee's leg but still hangs on to Jamielee's hair. I'd say Jamielee's two handed attack on Echo's hair is winning. No: she hasn't ripped out chunks of hair from Echo, it just happens to be her hair style.......I think.

Stylish picture of Emma taking Candy to the mattress by the hair.

A magnificent throw from Faith but do notice, even a vicious throw won't dislodge Natalie's hand from Faith's hair.

The Pocket Rocket doesn't need much of Kelly's lovely hair to turn her head.

A pony-tail can cause contortions to the body in a cat-fight, especially if Ruby is on the end of it.

Chelsea uses the hair to get Pinky off balance for the mount. Other girls might let go thinking that might hurt too much. Not Chelsea!

Pinky's nightmare continues as Chelsea applies the pressure.

As Tazmin cheers Ruby on, Chelsea applies the hardcore head twist by the hair but the gruelling fight went for three rounds of bitter struggle for supremacy. Ruby didn't complain but a head turn too far happened when Natalie's shout stopped Axa doing similar to her in their fight. Tuff stuff!

Close quarters hair tugging in stand-up was greatly demonstrated in Faith versus Natalie. They battled, tugging one way and another to render each other open for a hard slap or the take-down and believe you me, these slaps kept coming viciously though the take-downs were later in the fight.

A perfect tug for Natalie to sink that slap, and she did it successfully.

Not unusual to see them in this position, they'll take the hair anywhere to find an advantage. Natalie was taller than Faith and she was more successful in the upright skirmish.

The Pub Fight Stories 3 - Sahara Sacks Her Manager.

                                                       ( Female Lightweight Titles )

The Women's South England Pub Fight Champion.

                                                                    SAHARA

Sahara poses for photographs at the weigh-in.

                                                                          VERSUS

                                                                          PORTIA

                                                           The Midlands Pub Fight Champion

For real, Sahara and Portia already had a topless, slapping BFuk fight. It turned out a draw and a wicked fight at that.

In a previous pub fight story, Portia lost to Mandy but according to Portia she didn't beat her fair and square. It was a friendly, so Portia's title was not on the line.

Mandy wouldn't give her a rematch, so the ambitious Portia texted Sahara and challenged her to fight at her  pub ' The Cat and Fiddle ' with a date, offering £300 of extra sponsorship money on top of the £600 fight purse, with £500 to the winner plus their titles.

Sahara's manager had refused to agree the fight but Sahara was fed up, she hadn't had a fight for a month, after her win on home turf against Mandy.

Besides, the purse offered was substantial; not only that, but Portia was the Midlands champion, which was a title Sahara needed, to further her ambition to become the UK pub champion, so she sacked her manager and took the fight.

Always confident, Sahara haggled the purse and narrowed it to ' winner takes all.'

Only twenty deep-pocket sponsors were permitted to view the fight, ten from each pub, because of increasing popularity and there had been crowd trouble from previous fights.

The press gathering and the weigh-in was to take place on the night, the fight to kick off at mid-night.

Sahara and her sponsors arrived at the Cat and Fiddle where the atmosphere was tense, though the supporters were confident in their own girl; the weigh-in, though under the broader weight limits, was without incident: after all, it was a title fight.

The friendly discussions over the ale about the fight were the weight difference and the punching power and both these stats favoured Portia.

While Sahara's sponsors insist her staying power was by far the most telling factor and that she would prevail.

The press interview was under-way where Portia insisted she would win the fight, no matter the rules, and Sahara was not interested in speculation, saying it was business and she would do the business.

The committee discussed the rules of the fight until all seemed satisfied -  a fight to the finish with taped fists , wearing only briefs and no biting.  ( I like that committee.)

The girls stripped down there and then, entering the area in the pub cleared of tables with the crowd around them on three sides and sawdust on the floor.

Not much room to fight so it had to be a close encounter and for the first time I saw Sahara doubtful, arguing with the officials and I reckon she was not so happy at the disorganised space, losing the advantage of speed while Portia could plod and punch to her heart's content: Sahara's complaint was met with a shrug of the shoulders.

Sahara's supporters shout ' Fix.' They understood her dilemma.

Undaunted, Sahara took off her top, flexing herself ready, her slim muscles rippling on her thin, shapely frame, her supporters ecstatic at her attitude.

Popping in their mouth-guards, the girls shake hands before their hands are quickly taped: the crowd growing excited from murmuring to increasing shouts of support.

Closing in, Portia's hopeful right misses while Sahara's delicate fists bang quickly into Portia's taut belly with little effect. Before Portia can reply, Sahara is out of her reach.

Using her speed, Sahara repeats the tactic after another wild swing from Portia but this time after two swift punches to Portia's belly, a vicious little uppercut to Portia's jaw has her fans roaring, as she again dances out of reach, but with so little room, bangs into hostile supporters who push her into the path of Portia.

Off balance, Sahara is stunned by a left and right to her head and face. Portia's fans are cheering as Sahara shakes her head to clear her dizzyness.

Seeing the effect of her punches, Portia's fists move like pistons as she circles Sahara but her timing is not that good, missing more than she connects, allowing Sahara to recover.

Slip-sliding, darting in again, the swashbuckling Sahara grips Portia's short hair keeping close in to her side, ramming the heel of her hand upward forcing Portia's head up whilst kneeing her lower abdomen and thigh.

Portia loses her temper, swinging wildly as Sahara's fists beat a tattoo on her ribs, breasts and belly.

Portia angrily grabs hold of Sahara's flowing hair, pulling her close and cruelly breast punches her several times. ' How do you like it ' she screams.

Sahara squirms out of reach, obviously hurt, massaging her breasts but Portia crowds her, landing several half-decent face shots.

They exchange a barrage of punches, neither giving way as the skin reddens until Sahara releases a kick to to the inside of Portia's thigh.

Sahara is looking for a rest as Portia plods after her throwing punches and kicks.

Sahara looks for her rest, unbelievably hanging from Portia's neck, both feet off the floor, Portia takes the strain as Sahara encircles her waist with her legs.

Obeying shouts from her supporters, Portia's fists beat against Sahara's ribs, and continues to stand.

Sahara loosens her hold to escape the punches. Not a successful rest-break.

Testosterone levels increasing, the strained voices from the crowd on the verge of losing control in support of their girl.

Circling each other, looking for an opening, Portia lunges for the hair and Sahara bangs her forehead into Portia's face. Sahara uppercuts furiously, Portia's head bobbing up and down from the hits but she hangs on to Sahara's hair, unleashing a powerful front knee strike into Sahara's midriff.

Sahara is bent over and tries to back off but Portia, still gripping Sahara's hair, brings her head down against her rising left knee. Sahara reels back, her hands over her face, sinking to her knees as Portia follows through, swinging her leg to take a mount.

Twisting and turning frantically, ( knowing full well the danger from Portia astride and dominating her) Sahara releases herself from Portia's grip, in a panic, scrabbling to her feet out of Portia's reach.

Portia, her face now badly bruised and bleeding, stands more slowly, raising her arms at the success of the take-down with what seems to be a smile on her face: her supporters raise their arms and chant her name.

Blood running from her nose and mouth, Sahara groggily keeps her fists up, going through her boxing motion and Portia, feeling confident, closes in, throwing punches The crowd erupts as a solid right hand into Sahara's face knocks her to the floor.

Sahara is up after a few moments to her fans relief but blood is escaping from a cut above her eye .

Sahara ducks and throws herself into a sticky, wet clinch, her right hand finds Portia's short blond hair, a fierce, powerful tug shifts Portia's equilibrium, a further tug with both hands brings her to her knees.

Two fast elbow shots to cheek and nose leaves Portia looking helpless, her knuckles trailing the floor. The immediate turnaround appreciated by Sahara's relieved supporters.

Sahara backs away, looking for a brief rest from a dazed Portia, now bleeding from cuts to her eye, nose and lip.

Portia has half risen but Sahara doesn't waste a second, a right foot kick to her head, drops Portia to the floor.

Is it over?

The minute is being counted, Portia's crowd urging her furiously, to get up.

Portia  desperately grabs Sahara's legs, bringing her down, where their sweating bodies tangle and writhe in the sawdust

Pulling hair, twisting heads they punch breasts, stomach and thighs, frantically.

Portia grips and squeezes the inside flesh of Sahara's thigh: Sahara yelps from the pain and furiously escapes to get to her feet, massaging her thigh.

A little slower, Portia rises.

Sahara yells " Is that how you want it ? "

A tired looking Portia beckons Sahara in.

Sahara's wild charge is met with a head punch and an uppercut. Sahara wobbles as Portia  drives another solid right into her stomach.

The fist fight is clearly working well for Portia and Sahara seems determined to suffer and have it out with her.

Portia does not appear to have the knockout punch and some of her zing has now gone.

Sahara cannot resist, she feints and two wicked little knuckle shots to the ribs, force Portia into retreat, followed closely by a couple of face punches.

Backed up, weakly kicking out at Sahara's legs, Portia falls among the onlookers but willing hands pushes her back into the arena where the girls clinch.

Leaning against each other, their bodies bathed in sweat, mouths wide open sucking in air, while taking a breather. The crowd urges them on, hoarse with excitement.

Portia's head butt is avoided by a now confident and galvanized Sahara as they exchange short punches to the lower body and breasts mixed in with sneaky uppercuts: Portia finds difficulty keeping up.

The watching crowd in a frenzy, Portia grips Sahara's breast and squeezes hard forcing Sahara, in obvious pain, to knee upwards: hard.

The blunt knee to Portia's lower abdomen is powerful and too much, she folds over, her hair gripped and twisted by Sahara forcing her to the sawdust.

Gripping her hair, Sahara knees and kicks her furiously, her elbows slice wickedly into Portia's upturned, already bloodied face.

Sahara is on a roll, her supporters roaring her on and Portia is on both knees now: her supporters subdued.

Another vicious knee strike to the head and Portia is on her back: the minute count begins, her chest heaving to take in much needed oxygen. Her head moves from side to side, as if not understanding what has happened. Her supporters scream in agony for her to rise and fight.

Sahara looks shattered, the last frenzy of energy has taken it's toll.

Portia seems to realise where she is, hears her fans and struggles to her hands and knees, her face a mask of blood, her almost naked and bruised body looking so vulnerable but Sahara ( within the rules ) kicks Portia's ribs twice, grips her shoulders and knees her chin.

The tired-out Portia has had it, she is down again and looks beaten.

Breathing hard, Sahara waits, rocking on her feet, bloody and bruised, so tired, her fists on automatic attention and still at the ready but Portia is not going to move: she is counted out.

Sahara is announced the winner in the 13th minute of the fight.

Her minder hurriedly escorts the exhausted champion from the fight arena, though she manages a quick wave, she will take time to recover, Portia was a tough fight.

Never under-estimate Sahara's stamina, she proved again she can undo the hopes of women bigger than her; mind you, she does take a lot of punishment to get her wins but it's her belief we follow and support, her will to deny her opponent victory, so far, unshakeable.

Sahara doubled her fan support and her championship belts that night.

Some questions remain: who's next?

And will the lovely Portia, stripped of her title, ever fight again? After that beating, I doubt it.
